Day 1 -
Arrive Yangon |

Arrive at Yangon International Airport.
Welcome by our tour guide. Transfer to
Hotel. Yangon sightseeing tour includes
the old colonial style city center with
the gilded Sule Pagoda, dating back over
2,000 years. Continue to Chaukhtatgyi -
a huge reclining Buddha image, proceed
to Shwedagon Pagoda - one of the world’s
most spectacular religious monuments and
the golden dome of the Pagoda rises 98
meter above its base and is covered with
60 tons of pure gold., will conclude the
tour of this picturesque garden city.
Overnight in Yangon.

Day 2 -
Yangon - Bagan by flight |

After breakfast, fly to Bagan. Check in
to hotel and Bagan sightseeing starting
with the busy local market and
continuing with visits to a diverse
selection of the most important Pagodas
and temples, such as Shwezigon Pagoda,
built by King Anawrahta in the early
11th century, Kubyanuk Gyi, a temple
with exquisite murals of Jataka scenes,
Khay Min Ga Temple, noted for its
spectacular of the area’s many monuments
and Ananda Temple with four huge
standing Buddha images and numerous
seated figures in niches around the
galleried interior. In the afternoon
have a short break due to intense heat
of the region. Visit to a lacquer
craftsmen’s workshop in near by Myinkaba
village. Continue to Manuha Temple,
built in Mon Style in 1095, Nanbaya
Temple, a unique sandstone monument,
said to have been the palace of King
Manuha and Myingaba Gu Byaukgyi Temple,
noted for its ancient mural paintings
under the protection of UNESCO. Proceed
to Shwesandaw Stupa to watch sunset.
Overnight in Bagan.

Day 3 -
Bagan – Mt. Popa |

After breakfast, drive to Mount Popa, an
extinct volcano with its shrines
dedicated to animist spirits known as“
Nats ”. For the energetic, time to climb
up the 777 steps to the shrine at the
top of the volcanic plug. In the
afternoon, drive back to Bagan and visit
the major temple and monuments of the
ancient archaeological zone like Ananda,
Dhammanyangyi, Sularmani, Pyathatgyi,
etc… Overnight in Bagan.

Day 4 -
Bagan – Mandalay by flight |

After breakfast, fly to Mandalay. Upon
arrival, drive to ancient capital of
Amarapura, 15 kilometers south of
Mandalay, visit to 1.2 Km long about 200
years old U Bein Bridge - built of huge
teak logs salvaged form Ava Royal
Palace. Continue to Mahagandayon
Monastery - a famous Buddhist monastery,
where more than a thousand monks live
and study. After that, proceed to
Mandalay on the way study the bronze
casting, Kalaga or embroidery, and
marble stone carving. Then continue to
Mahamuni with its spectacular Buddha
image covered with thick layers of gold
leaves, then visit the Gold-leave
beating, Shwenandaw or Golden Palace
Monastery, a superb example of a
traditional wooden building and Kuthodaw
Pagoda - known as the world’s biggest
book, consisting of 729 marble slabs
engraved with Buddhist scriptures.

Day 5 -
Mandalay - Mingun – Mandalay |

After breakfast, Boat trip on the
Ayeyarwaddy River to Mingun about 11km
(1 hour) upriver from Mandalay with
visits to the unfinished Pahtoedawgyi
Pagoda built as one of the world’s
largest pagoda by King Bodaw Paya, the
Mingun Bell - weighing 90 tons and being
the largest uncracked bell in the world,
and Myatheindan Pagoda. Back to
Mandalay. Proceed to ShweInBin teak wood
monastery which is only one complete set
of traditional monastery and built in
1890. Then visit the Zegyo market which
is the biggest market of upper Myanmar.
And walk around the city center. Sunset
at nearby the river. Overnight in
Mandalay.

Day 6 -
Mandalay – Sagaing – Ava |

A fter breakfast, drive to Ava boat jetty
to across the small river. Then take a
horse cart to visit the left over
building of the Ava period includes
Bagayar huge teak wood monastery, Maha
Aungmye Bonzan Menu brick Monastery,
ruins of ancient Ava, Watch Tower. Then
continue to Sagaing over 1 kilometer
long bridge built in 1934 across the
Ayeyarwaddy River. Visit to Sagaing
Hills, with numerous Pagodas and
monasteries and a retreat for Buddhist
devotees. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 7 -
Mandalay – Pyin Oo Lwin |

After breakfast, drive to PyinOoLwin
– the former British Hill
Station and where there are
many Colonial Buildings.
Visit around the most
beautiful town including
Botanical Garden. Overnight
in Mandalay. |

Day 8 -
Mandalay – Heho by flight |

|
After breakfast, fly to Heho. Drive to
Kalaw (takes more or less 8 hours). When
you get Kalaw, a fresh and delightful
hill station, on the rim of the Shan
Plateau, which is a market center for
ethnic minorities from surrounding
regions. Overnight in Kalaw.

Day 9 -
Kalaw – Pindaya – Inle |

|
After breakfast drive to Pindaya. Upon
arrival visit the Pindaya caves - unique
for the thousands of Buddha images
placed there by pilgrims over many
centuries and Shan traditional bamboo
umbrella making. The journey continues
on a narrow, winding and bumpy road
through the Shan Hills to Inle Lake.
Overnight in Inle.

Day 10 -

After breakfast, an excursion by boat on
Inle Lake, to see the Intha - fishermen
rowing with their legs, Pagoda on
artificial islands in the lake, floating
gardens and floating market [on market
day only], continue to Phaung Daw Oo
Pagoda, one of the main principle
shrines of Myanmar and dating back to
the 18th century; the NgaPheChaung
Monastery, famous for its jumping cats
trained by monks and the weaving village
of Inpawkhon. Overnight in Inle.

Day 11 -
Yangon by flight |

After breakfast, fly back to Yangon.
Transfer to hotel and Yangon City
sightseeing short visit to Botataung
Pagoda, Nan Thida Jetty. Then shopping
at Bogyoke (Scotts) Market with hundreds
of stores and of a gems shops. Overnight
in Yangon.

Time at leisure to pursue individual
interests until your transfer to the
airport. Your guide will pick you up the
hotel and accompany you to the airport.
