F.T.T-11  (12Days 11Nights)
(Yangon – Kyaikhtiyo – Bago – Mandalay – Mingun – Bagan – Heho – Pindaya – Taunggyi – Kakku - Inle - Yangon)

Day 1 - Arrive Yangon { B / - / - }

Arrive at Yangon International Airport. Welcome by our tour guide. Transfer to Hotel. Yangon sightseeing tour includes the old colonial style city center with the gilded Sule Pagoda, dating back over 2,000 years. Continue to Chaukhtatgyi - a huge reclining Buddha image, proceed to Shwedagon Pagoda - one of the world’s most spectacular religious monuments and the golden dome of the Pagoda rises 98 meter above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold., will conclude the tour of this picturesque garden city. Overnight in Yangon.
 

Day 2 - Yangon -  Kyaikhtiyo { B / - / - }

After breakfast, drive to Kin Pun “base camp” ( 194km- 5hours ). Continue to Kyaikhtiyo, the Golden Rock, a huge boulder completely covered by gold leave sand delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. From Kin Pun, a steep and rough 11 km dirt road leads to the upper staging point, a journey made in open trucks, which are very crowded. From the “ upper area ”, travelers must at present walk the final stage, approximately 4 km up steep paths, which ascend some 500m to the Golden Rock. As an easier alternative to walking, visitors can be carried in sedan chairs by four porters at an extra cost of approximately US$ 10 p.p. On arrival, Lunch at local restaurant en route or at base camp and watch the beauty of sunset or dawn at this important pilgrimage site. Overnight in Kyaikhtiyo.
 

Day 3 - Kyaikhtiyo – Bago – Yangon { B / - / - }

After breakfast, descending from Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda. Proceed to Bago. Lunch at a local restaurant in Bago and continue with sightseeing including the 55 m long reclining Shwe Tha Lyaung Buddha Image, one of the country’s most revered. Kyaikpun (Four facing) pagoda and Mon village. Visit Maha Klyani Sima ordination hall and Mahazedi “ Great Stupa ” offering panoramic views. Upon arrival in Yangon, transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Yangon.
 

Day 4 - Yangon – Mandalay by flight { B / - / - }

After breakfast, fly to Mandalay. Upon arrival, drive to ancient capital of Amarapura, 15 kilometers south of Mandalay, visit to 1.2 Km long about 200 years old U Bein Bridge - built of huge teak logs salvaged form Ava Royal Palace. Continue to Mahagandayon Monastery - a famous Buddhist monastery, where more than a thousand monks live and study. After that, proceed to Mandalay on the way study the bronze casting, Kalaga or embroidery, and marble stone carving. Then continue to Mahamuni with its spectacular Buddha image covered with thick layers of gold leaves, then visit the Gold-leave beating, Shwenandaw or Golden Palace Monastery, a superb example of a traditional wooden building and Kuthodaw Pagoda - known as the world’s biggest book, consisting of 729 marble slabs engraved with Buddhist scriptures. Sunset from Mandalay Hill. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 5 - Mandalay - Mingun – Mandalay { B / - / - }

After breakfast, Boat trip on the Ayeyarwaddy River to Mingun about 11km (1 hour) upriver from Mandalay with visits to the unfinished Pahtoedawgyi Pagoda built as one of the world’s largest pagoda by King Bodaw Paya, the Mingun Bell - weighing 90 tons and being the largest uncracked bell in the world, and Myatheindan Pagoda. Back to Mandalay. Proceed to ShweInBin teak wood monastery which is only one complete set of traditional monastery and built in 1890. Then visit the Zegyo market which is the biggest market of upper Myanmar. And walk around the city center. Sunset at nearby the river. Overnight in Mandalay.
 

Day 6 - Mandalay – Bagan by boat { B / - / - }

Early in the morning, after breakfast, transfer to boat jetty, to take the Shwekyeinnayee express boat (but slow boat on every Sunday and Wednesday) to Bagan. Transfer to hotel and overnight in Bagan.

Day 7 - Bagan { B / - / - }

After breakfast, Bagan sightseeing starting with the busy local market and continuing with visits to a diverse selection of the most important Pagodas and temples, such as Shwezigon Pagoda, built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century, Kubyanuk Gyi, a temple with exquisite murals of Jataka scenes, Khay Min Ga Temple, noted for its spectacular of the area’s many monuments and Ananda Temple with four huge standing Buddha images and numerous seated figures in niches around the galleried interior. In the afternoon have a short break due to intense heat of the region. Visit to a lacquer craftsmen’s workshop in near by Myinkaba village. Continue to Manuha Temple, built in Mon Style in 1095, Nanbaya Temple, a unique sandstone monument, said to have been the palace of King Manuha and Myingaba Gu Byaukgyi Temple, noted for its ancient mural paintings under the protection of UNESCO. Proceed to Shwesandaw Stupa to watch sunset. Overnight in Bagan.
 

Day 8 - Bagan – Heho by flight { B / - / - }

After breakfast, fly to Heho. Drive to Pindaya. Upon arrival visit the Pindaya caves - unique for the thousands of Buddha images placed there by pilgrims over many centuries and Shan traditional bamboo umbrella making. Then walk around small and quite village. Overnight in Pindaya.
 

Day 9 - Pindaya – Inle { B / - / - }

After breakfast, drive to Inle and an excursion by boat on Inle Lake, to see the Intha - fishermen rowing with their legs, Pagoda on artificial islands in the lake, floating gardens and floating market [on market day only], continue to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, one of the main principle shrines of Myanmar and dating back to the 18th century; the NgaPheChaung Monastery, famous for its jumping cats trained by monks and the weaving village of Inpawkhon. Overnight in Inle.
 

Day 10 - Inle – Taunggyi – Kakku – Inle { B / - / - }

After breakfast, a two hours drive from Taunggyi through a landscape dotted with clusters of villages and fields of red soil, brings you to Kakku. Center of worship for the Pa- O living region for centuries. On a small plot of elevated land and overlooking the Hopong valley, ancient pagodas, many in ruins, stand. Some are choked by the roots of banyan trees and others by creeper vines but one thing in common is that the stucco sculptures remain in relatively good condition under the ravages of time and weather. Annually in March, on the full Moon day of Tabaung which is the last month of the Myanmar lunar calendar, the Pagoda festival take place. After sightseeing, drive back to Inle. Overnight in Inle.
 

Day 11 - Yangon by flight { B / - / - }

After breakfast, fly back to Yangon. Transfer to hotel and Yangon City sightseeing short visit to Botataung Pagoda, Nan Thida Jetty. Then shopping at Bogyoke (Scotts) Market with hundreds of stores and of a gems shops. Overnight in Yangon.
 

Day 12 - Departure { B / - / - }

Time at leisure to pursue individual interests until your transfer to the airport. Your guide will pick you up the hotel and accompany you to the airport. Departure from Yangon.
