Day 1 - Arrive Yangon { B / - / - }

Arrive at Yangon International Airport. Welcome by our tour guide. Transfer to Hotel. Yangon sightseeing tour includes the old colonial style city center with the gilded Sule Pagoda, dating back over 2,000 years. Continue to Chaukhtatgyi - a huge reclining Buddha image, proceed to Shwedagon Pagoda - one of the world’s most spectacular religious monuments and the golden dome of the Pagoda rises 98 meter above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold., will conclude the tour of this picturesque garden city. Overnight in Yangon.
 

Day 2 - Yangon -  Pyay by car { B / - / - }

After breakfast, drive to Pyay, the famous Pyu capital before Bagan. Stop at villages to learn the daily life of the people more closely. Visit to the Local market to watch the populace of the environ, and stop at Innma Village to learn the hand-loom weaving. Visit Shwesandaw Pagoda, and Saehtutgyi Gygantic Seated Buddha Image. Overnight in Pyay (Prome).
 

Day 3 - Pyay – Bagan by car { B / - / - }

After breakfast, drive to Bagan [350km - 9hours], arrive Bagan and check in to hotel. Enjoy the sunset and panoramic view the surroundings. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.
 

Day 4 - Bagan { B / - / - }

After breakfast, Bagan sightseeing starting with the busy local market and continuing with visits to a diverse selection of the most important Pagodas and temples, such as Shwezigon Pagoda, built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century, Kubyanuk Gyi, a temple with exquisite murals of Jataka scenes, Khay Min Ga Temple, noted for its spectacular of the area’s many monuments and Ananda Temple with four huge standing Buddha images and numerous seated figures in niches around the galleried interior. In the afternoon have a short break due to intense heat of the region. Visit to a lacquer craftsmen’s workshop in near by Myinkaba village. Continue to Manuha Temple, built in Mon Style in 1095, Nanbaya Temple, a unique sandstone monument, said to have been the palace of King Manuha and Myingaba Gu Byaukgyi Temple, noted for its ancient mural paintings under the protection of UNESCO. Proceed to Shwesandaw Stupa to watch sunset. Overnight in Bagan.
 

Day 5 - Sale - Mt. Popa { B / - / - }

After breakfast, driving excursion to Salay, a town which developed during the late Bagan era. Worth a visit is the YokeSone Monastery with its exceptional wood carvings on the outside of the building. After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to Mount Popa, an extinct volcano with its shrines dedicated to animist spirits known as“ Nats ”. For the energetic, time to climb up the 777 steps to the shrine at the top of the volcanic plug. Overnight in Bagan.
 

Day 6 - Bagan – Mandalay by car { B / - / - }

After breakfast, drive to Mandalay. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 7 - Mandalay { B / - / - }

After breakfast, drive to ancient capital of Amarapura, 15 kilometers south of Mandalay, visit to 1.2 Km long about 200 years old U Bein Bridge - built of huge teak logs salvaged form Ava Royal Palace. Continue to Mahagandayon Monastery - a famous Buddhist monastery, where more than a thousand monks live and study. After that, proceed to Mandalay on the way study the bronze casting, Kalaga or embroidery, and marble stone carving. Then continue to Mahamuni with its spectacular Buddha image covered with thick layers of gold leaves, then visit the Gold-leave beating, Shwenandaw or Golden Palace Monastery, a superb example of a traditional wooden building and Kuthodaw Pagoda - known as the world’s biggest book, consisting of 729 marble slabs engraved with Buddhist scriptures. Sunset from Mandalay Hill. Overnight in Mandalay.
 

Day 8 - Mandalay - Mingun – Mandalay { B / - / - }

After breakfast, Boat trip on the Ayeyarwaddy River to Mingun about 11km (1 hour) upriver from Mandalay with visits to the unfinished Pahtoedawgyi Pagoda built as one of the world’s largest pagoda by King Bodaw Paya, the Mingun Bell - weighing 90 tons and being the largest uncracked bell in the world, and Myatheindan Pagoda. Back to Mandalay. Proceed to ShweInBin teak wood monastery which is only one complete set of traditional monastery and built in 1890. Then visit the Zegyo market which is the biggest market of upper Myanmar. And walk around the city center. Sunset at nearby the river. Overnight in Mandalay.
 

Day 9 - Mandalay – Pyin Oo Lwin { B / - / - }

After breakfast, drive to PyinOoLwin – the former British Hill Station and where there are many Colonial Buildings. Visit around the most beautiful town including Botanical Garden. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 10 - Mandalay – Sagaing – Ava – Monywa { B / - / - }

After breakfast, drive to Ava boat jetty to across the small river. Then take a horse cart to visit the left over building of the Ava period includes Bagayar huge teak wood monastery, Maha Aungmye Bonzan Menu brick Monastery, ruins of ancient Ava, Watch Tower. Then continue to Sagaing over 1 kilometer long bridge built in 1934 across the Ayeyarwaddy River. Visit to Sagaing Hills, with numerous Pagodas and monasteries and a retreat for Buddhist devotees. After that, drive to Monywa by car (about 2/12 hr). Overnight in Monywa.
 

Day 11 - Monywa { B / - / - }

After breakfast, visit to the Thanboddhay Pagoda; 8465 small stupas are rising up to richly decorated central stupa, which is reminding a bit of Borobudur in Java. Take a walk through the nearby banyan tree grove Boddhi-Tathaung with the thousand Buddha images sitting at the foot of each tree and enjoy the view from Aung Setkaya Pagoda, standing 130 meter high on the Po Khaung hills. After lunch at simple local restaurant, cross the Chindwin River by ferry boat and proceed by pickup or jeep [ 40 km - 1 hours ] to Hpo Win Taung, a system of impressive sandstone caves containing Buddha statues, wood carvings and fine mural paintings mainly in Innwa -style, some dating back to 15th century. Dozens of large and small caves with about 450,000 images are hidden in the area of the Hpo Win Hills. Overnight in Monywa.
 

Day 12 - Monywa – Kalaw { B / - / - }

After breakfast, drive to Kalaw. When you get Kalaw, a fresh and delightful hill station, on the rim of the Shan Plateau, which is a market center for ethnic minorities from surrounding regions. Overnight in Kalaw.

Day 13 - Kalaw – Pindaya – Inle { B / - / - }

After breakfast drive to Pindaya. Upon arrival visit the Pindaya caves - unique for the thousands of Buddha images placed there by pilgrims over many centuries and Shan traditional bamboo umbrella making. The journey continues on a narrow, winding and bumpy road through the Shan Hills to Inle Lake. Overnight in Inle.
 

Day 14 - Inle & Indein { B / - / - }

After breakfast, an excursion by boat on Inle Lake, to see the Intha - fishermen rowing with their legs, Pagoda on artificial islands in the lake, floating gardens and floating market [on market day only], continue to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, one of the main principle shrines of Myanmar and dating back to the 18th century; the NgaPheChaung Monastery, famous for its jumping cats trained by monks and the weaving village of Inpawkhon. Then proceed to Inndein where there are more than thousand of ruing pagodas by visiting some floating villages. Overnight in Inle.
 

Day 15 - Inle – Taungoo { B / - / - }

After breakfast, drive to Taungoo (approx. 9 hour), capital of 15th century. Taungoo located 255 miles south of Mandalay on Yangon-Mandalay main road. Overnightin Taungoo.

Day 16 - Taungoo – Kyaikhtiyo { B / - / - }

After an early breakfast, drive to Kin Pun “base camp” ( 194km- 5hours ).Continue to Kyaikhtiyo, the Golden Rock, a huge boulder completely covered by gold leave sand delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. From Kin Pun, a steep and rough 11 km dirt road leads to the upper staging point, a journey made in open trucks, which are very crowded. From the “ upper area ”, travelers must at present walk the final stage, approximately 4 km up steep paths, which ascend some 500m to the Golden Rock. As an easier alternative to walking, visitors can be carried in sedan chairs by four porters at an extra cost of approximately US$ 10 p.p. On arrival, Lunch at local restaurant en route or at base camp and watch the beauty of sunset or dawn at this important pilgrimage site. Overnight at Hotel in Kyaikhtiyo.
 

Day 17 - Kyaikhtiyo – Bago - Yangon { B / - / - }

Kyaikhtiyo to Bago by coach. Visit Shwetharlyaung pagoda, Mon village, Kyaikpon (four facing) pagoda and pottery. Lunch on the way. Visit Bogyoke market and china town transfer to hotel. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 18 - Departure { B / - / - }

Time at leisure to pursue individual interests until your transfer to the airport. Your guide will pick you up the hotel and accompany you to the airport. Departure from Yangon.
